This year is flying by! So much fun stuff has happened already this year and I want to share a few of them with you.
First off, a wonderful creative opportunity presented itself when last month (April 12) the company I’ve worked for 29 years as a catalog manager/creative director/product developer for stationery products, moved all it’s operations to Minnesota.
If you know me personally, you know I’m originally from Alabama and don’t care for the cold weather, even in Colorado. Even though some say Colorado “cold” is mild compared to other states, it still gets too chilly for me. So when our company “invited” us to move to Minnesota, I responded with uhm, no thanks!
The “wonderful” part is that we received severance pay. It’s lovely receiving a paycheck every two weeks while I’m creating in the studio. I love it! (note to self: must figure out how to do this full time!)
In other news, my local polymer clay guild invited members to participate in a polymer clay exhibit at the Manitou Art Center. So I’ve put together a few pieces for that show. If you’re in town, the show opens Friday June 16th and runs through August 13, 2017.
In the meantime, hope you’re enjoying your week so far. I’d love to hear from you! Say hello in the comments if you have a moment to spare.
