Goodness hello! It sure was a busy fall. Sorry I haven’t checked in lately but here’s a quick recap:

My honey, Tim and I had a nice trip to Glenwood Springs. It rained the whole time but you know what? If you pick the right travel companion you will always have a great time and we did. Good food and exploring some nearby small towns, couples massages and got to take a dip in the hot springs.Glenwood Hot Springs

I had eye surgery on my left eye to remove a cataract and have a corrective implant placed inside. I can read far away in my left eye, people this is a miracle. No pain at all through the whole process. Amazing what technology can do.

I’m working on some collaborative book projects. Sent some images in for a new book coming out late 2013 and got a new request for photos of my work for a new book coming out in summer of’s all real hush hush at the moment but I assure you, I will spill the beans as soon as I can.

Donated a mixed media art piece to for Sandy Camp.

I revamped my website. Stop by if you haven’t seen it and tell me what you think about it. I wanted to make it more user friendly to add video and a shopping cart. I’ll be adding more how to videos soon and I’m working on some new art for the shop too. (I apologize to you if you’ve gotten lots of posts today. I was trying to make some updates and it kept publishing. whoops!)

Finished a new beginner class for CraftArtEdu called Autumn Leaves Napkin Rings, which will be available in a week or so, be on the look out for that one.

Finally, I’m also happy to announce I got some new photo’s shot by Chris Gosnell who happens to also be a new friend and co-worker. If you’re in Colorado Springs I highly recommend for family shots, weddings, etc. She is a HOOT to work with and quite talented photographer. (click on the top image to enlarge it)
