Happy Dance

Here are a few new altered postcards that I’m sending out to my artfest friends tomorrow. This is the side that gets the address. The other side is a digital collage. I’m keepin it a secret as to surprise my friends. You know there are so many wonderful altering techniques out there that I want to try but for now I find myself just warming up with some simple stamped images. I’ll get around to the fancier things but for now this feels right to me.

I also wanted to share with you some exciting news. In the past couple of weeks I’ve been contacted by someone who wants to use my art with an article she is writing to be published in a high end craft magazine. I’ve had a very sweet person ask for my polymer art to be included in a book she’ll be publishing soon and on Memorial Day an online friend congratulated me for appearing on Polymer Clay Daily.
I’m just so flattered by all the attention! I’ll give you more details when the time draws closer but for now could you do a happy dance for me? I’m thrilled to be a part of such a supportive and artistic online community. I’ve met great online friends. I’m blessed that I have a few regular visitors. Thank you so much for stopping by, commenting and sharing my link. I appreciate all the wonderful comments you’ve left over the past year. So as I celebrate, I also celebrate YOU…my sweet online friends. thank you. thank you. 🙂
