As promised here’s the finished encased heart made from polymer clay that I created for Kristen’s fundraiser. I was even inspired to create a stand for the heart to sit on (that will also be included to the lucky winner).
When I’m working on a special project like this, my eyes aren’t satisfied until my art has a relic or vintage look to it. I’m happy with how it turned out and I hope the winner likes it too. I hid part of the ladies torso with a decorative element so as to not offend anyone by her birthday suit. 🙂
Thank you so much for those of you who were able to donate or share Kristen’s story. I heard from several of you that you had a similar story of someone taking claim to art that was rightfully yours. It’s apparently pretty common, too common if you ask me. I’m honored that you found it in your heart to help. 🙂
Friday is the drawing. I can hardly wait. Best of luck to all of you who participated. ♥
I’m working on a special download print for all of you to have, so be sure to visit my blog on Friday to claim yours!
