Yesterday I attended a very fun local pmc class at a Jackie’s bead shop. Jackie is such a sweetheart. Jackie taught us how to work with the pmc and to create a bezel for stones. It’s such a neat process to work with the pmc clay. It starts out very malleable as clay. It is made up of water, binders and small particles of pure silver but once you fire it, all the binders burn away and the silver particles condense and bind together to form pure silver. Both of the stones in the charms I made (shown above) are cubic zirconia.
