Marie Segal contacted me a while ago to ask if I’d donate a piece of art to be auctioned off at Sandy Camp this year. (Sandy Camp is a polymer clay retreat put on by the San Diego Polymer clay guild.)
Marie and I have a special connection because we both love polymer clay and we both love making hearts! So of course I told her I’d be happy to donate a piece.
I had a few work-in-progress pieces on my work table. I decided to use this heart because it features a new experiment of my very own digital collage art transferred onto a polymer clay heart pendant. I stamped a piece of copper with “inspire”, attached a few links of chain and the glass beads. The red beads are also polymer clay.
Marie was kind enough to snap a picture of the lucky recipient, Shelly Neal. Congratulations Shelly! 🙂
