Sneak Peek to Enchantment Collection

Hello friends, I hope you're enjoying life right now. It's been a super busy summer but I am enjoying it.

I'm pretty excited about my next collection called "Enchantment". Here's a sneak peek at the texture mat. Isn't it lovely? I posted a fun work in progess of a little fox I'm working on...on instagram if you want to check it out. The complete collection should be available sometime in August. (fingers crossed) CreateAlong produces most of the products in my collection. Tip: I would recommend purchasing items you're interested in because sometimes they aren't produced again after the first runs. A few items in my first 2 collections are no longer available. You don't want to miss out!

I'm getting my things gathered for teaching my encased heart class in Albuquerque this weekend. (side note: I have to look up the spelling every single time! lol) I'm super excited to visit with other creative people. My lovely hostess in Albuquerque is Annie Hooten, reach out to her on facebook for details about my class. We'll explore various techniques for sculpting hearts and adding layers of interesting details. I can't wait to see what everyone creates.

The 2 day class will be a nice distraction in the midst of us showing our house to sell and packing to move mid August. Although the square footage is similar we're moving from a 2 story with basement to a ranch with basement. My studio will be half the size it is now with finished walls and carpet. (woohoo). To make sure I don't take too much stuff, I've been purging, selling and donating art supplies like mad. Althought the space is smaller, it's still a great size 12x11 a standard bedroom size. I know it may sound sad having a smaller space but I'm actually looking forward to not being distracted by supplies I no longer (or ever) used. It has felt amazing to get things out of the house. A smaller space will also help me to focus. My plan will be to focus on polymer clay and graphic designs. My first big project will be to make "Wish" Christmas ornaments. I had planned to start them before now but it's hard to get anything done at the moment. -tejae
