I don't know about you but when I see someone succeeding, whether it be in their art, business or family, for a split second I wonder, how the heck does she do ALL that?

I'm super excited to let you know I've been featured in Passion for Polymer magazine. This is a digital version. I included an article and tutorial. The article is a story about my early life and my creativity. The tutorial gives you a peek inside my studio and how I create these heart pieces. I share the process from start to finish. Its easy to follow along. I hope you check it out.

Happy New Year 2019

In Colorado Springs, we woke up to a cool 4 degrees this morning. I'm sitting here at my computer, getting toasty in my studio with the heater blowing and the blinds open. Its super sunny with a little snow on the ground. I don't plan on going out today. Just taking it easy and pondering the future.

Easily Transfer Images to Polymer

I've experimented with various ways to transfer images to polymer clay. The easiest way I've found is to print my digital collage sheets using a color laser printer and magic transfer paper. Magic transfer paper dissolves in so it doesn't work with an ink jet printer.

Rustic Polymer Clay Pendant Video

Hi there! Want to learn how to make this Rustic polymer clay pendant? I've made a video sharing my process using acrylic paints, stax and texture stamps from my designer collection at CreateAlong. I hope you enjoy it.

Fall Frenzy Lots of projects in the works

Hello friends, this past weekend I spent some time picking up a few fall leaves from our yard. Check out these beauties!

I brought the image into photoshop and tweaked some of the colors, layered them and created these polymer clay transfer sheets. You could also use them as collage art in mixed media art.

I've been adding a couple of collage sheets to my online shop. Check them out and let me know what you think.

How are you today? The chill is definitely in the air here. Fall has arrived in Colorado Springs. Although we've had some cool nights, it's supposed to be in the 80s for the next couple of days.

Hello from my new studio

Hello friends! Tim and I moved into our new home.Yaaay... and as excited as we were to move, good grief I think we both forgot how much work it is! We still have lots to do and boxes to unpack but we are here and starting the process of making it a home. yay!

About my studio space. I have real walls!! Yippeee.

Here's something new I'm working Fairy Tale book pendants complete with pages inside. These images are not complete but work in progress.

The book pages are underneath the decorative cover. The back decorative cover is shown below. I'm hoping to finish it once I'm in my new studio. We're closing next Friday!! woo-hoo.

I used my new Enchantment collection cutters and stax stamps. For the backs I used the Enchantment texture mat.

Would you like to know what inspires my new collections?

I have really enjoyed creating new collections for CreateAlong. The tools are super easy to use with polymer clay, pmc or mixed media. The scale is intended to be used to create jewelry with but it would also work for other small scale uses, fairy doors, book pendants, covering tool handles, etc.

I thought it would be fun to share the story and inspiration behind my collections. So far I have 3, Secret Garden, Romance and my newest collection called Enchantment. If all goes well, Enchantment will be available in August 2018.
